AT SOME POINT, THERE’S A LINE IN THE SAND THAT NEEDS TO BE DRAWN WHEN IT COMES TO WHO YOU WANT TO BE AND HOW YOU WANT TO SHOW UP IN THIS WORLD…

At some point, there's a line in the sand that needs to be drawn when it comes to who you want to be and how you want to show up in this world...

And that means you have to let go of the safe, toasty warm comfort of fitting in and not rocking boats in order to stand apart from the masses to be who you were called to be.

That's not easy.

You teeter between bouts of sugar-induced moments of bravado where you think you can do ANYTHING! And you do.

Then you shrink back into the invisible void as soon as you get the first goosebumps of how chilly it can actually be to stand out there alone too long with all the eyes looking at you.

"Has she lost her mind?"
"Oh bless her heart, she's tryin' to be sassy!"

Cringe.

The cycle of courage/cowardice turns and turns and turns until you find yourself tying the hamster in the wheel next to you for last place.

You're going to have to show up and stay there.
You're going to have to consistently put your opinions, ideas and thoughts out there for the world to scrutinize, criticize and love.

Because what you're trying to do is imperative to your business and to the soul in your body.

You're trying to find your soulmate tribe.
Those who will love every crazy, hair-brained, brilliant and surprising thing about you.

Those who would get in a bloody cat fight on the closest thread to defend your honor.

And you can't do that trying to appease the haters.

Who by the way, aren't ever going to convert.

You're never going to please them and you shouldn't want to because they're not your audience.

Let them go.

And embrace those who show up to be in your corner.
Those who will douse you with a cold wash cloth, whisper words of "Go get'em girl" in your ear and send you out for the next round.

Because THOSE people?

Are the ones you're here for.
Those are the people who look to you to lead them.

And lead them you shall.
