Every morning I brush my teeth without fear or hesitation that I might fail at it. In fact, I’ve had over 40 years’’ experience doing it, and if I can boldly say (and my dentist can vouch) I’m pretty good at it. (Thanks, Sonicare)
I manage to get dressed in the morning without questioning whether my choice of attire will affect my self-worth. I mean it’s no Dolce closet, but I can sling some fabric over my hunchback and still manage to go outside on the daily without paralyzing fear.
There’s no mystery around how to do these things. I follow the steps and get the results.
So why is it so hard when we’re trying to succeed in business? Why are we trying to intertwine our self-worth with a rational formula for success?
If you consistently show up, give value, do the work and ask for the sale…..you will get the results.
There’s no question of….
“Am I good enough?”
“Am I worthy enough?”
There is only taking the necessary action that gets the desired results. That’s all there is to it.
